Peaceful
Thursday, July 30th, 2009Everyone has a special spot where they are at peace. Where they can take their mind off everything around them. Where the days stress magically drifts away. These two are my special places. Climbing into the mountains on my bike and sitting under an ocean pier watching the sunset…If you don’t have a special place, I suggest you find it.

Garage Magazine T-Shirt
Thursday, July 30th, 2009I would personally like to invite David Lozeau over to paint my walls! He did an amazing job creating the new t-shirt design for Garage Magazine. Check out this time lapse video of his work in action.
Some cool stuff
Friday, October 3rd, 2008Just some various cool stuff found on the web today.
First up, The Ferrambo. What is it? Its the body of a 1960 Rambler stuffed with a Ferrari 3.6 Liter V8 engine our of a 2002 Ferrari 360 Medona. There isn’t much of the original Rambler body left but it still resembles the original car very much. The car is a two-seater with the engine in the rear. So, you won’t be hauling your family on vacation in this ride. The car is up for sale as well. For more info, click here.
Dirtopia
Monday, September 22nd, 2008I ran across Dirtopia tonight and was in awe. An encyclopedia for off-road. WOW. How in the hell have I never heard of this website? I just spent about an hour on there searching all of the known off-road playgrounds that I know about in the US. It found all of them! Ryan and I may head up to Big Bear this Friday for a little fun in the Polaris RZR-S so I thought I would do a little research on friendly side by side trails.
This site is definitely going on the right side of the blog. You can look for it there in the future. Back to Big Bear, if you know of any good trails for side by sides let me know. I know of a bunch of nice 4wd trails but not necessarily ones I wanna head out solo in a sxs on.
Around the net
Monday, September 1st, 2008Tonight is another night of around the net here on LM. Checkout some cool stuff I ran into lately while spending much too much time on the net.
We have all seen some clever marketing strategies but what about this one from the Bit Copa Beer?
Who said the Iphone cannot do 3D graphics well? You just need the right programmers.
iHologram – iPhone application from David OReilly on Vimeo
How much ass is the new Max Payne movie starring Mark Wahlberg going to kick? The new posters are amazing and also make pretty good Iphone wallpaper.
Want to make your Apple Iphone cooler than your friends? Bust it apart and swap out that tacky old news mirror apple on the back for a nice shiny glowing one.
You all know how I feel about watches and if you don’t, I love them. This one is designed by John Pszeniczny and is named the F1/Carbon GMT which was inspired by Formula 1 racing. It is made of carbon fiber, Swarovski crystal, rubber and metal. For additional bling, the timepiece has 18 rubies that tells the time for each of the 18 cities on the 2008 F1 circuit. Yes, I want one.
Remember when you used to fake being sick and tell Mom that you needed to stay home from school so you can watch TV? I mean, because you were sick. For some reason 9 out of 10 times I would ditch school I would find Red Sonja on TBS. I swear throughout elementary school it must have been on TBS 4682 times. I think I caught 4392 of those. Looks like they are giving Rose McGowan a shot at replacing Brigitte Nielsen did back in 1985. (shit I really just dated myself didn’t I)
Oh, I really hope this goes down. It looks like XM and SIRIUS Satellite radio networks are going to be coming to the Iphone! SCORE. Well, score for Sirius at least since XM blows donkey. To make this sound more appealing it looks like the programs will be coming to jailbroken (unlocked) Iphones like mine. For more information click here.

Beautiful things to lounge on and look at
Monday, August 18th, 2008Susan and I headed down to Crystal Court across from South Coast Plaza yesterday for a little shopping. We stopped into a few cool furnishing stores and found some neat stuff. I had heard about Environmental Furniture about a year ago and may have even shared an image of their drift wood bed on here, can’t recall. They have some really cool digs that are a bit too pricey for me but would look damn good in a nice big home.
Check out that drift wood bed. Beautiful lines with deep rich natural wood.
Now thats cool
Friday, August 15th, 2008In 1962, the Chevy 327 was born and was instantly the most powerful natural aspirated, single cam, production small block V8. To show his appreciation of the power plant, Jim Moyer decided to build a miniature of the motor in 1/6th scale. Not only is it a mini but it actually works. Jim built his first mini engine while serving in the Army iin ‘64. The mini engine has all custom fabricated parts including head, block, pistons, crank, cam, etc. Checkout the video above, incredible.
Checkout this Lambo! Prestige Lambo of Miami decided to let a local artist have his way with the car and a whole lot of black sharpie pens. Yes, sharpies. After the car was complete it was sprayed with a clear coat to protect it. Hey, if I had money to blow on cars like this why not make it unique, right? Mike, start getting ideas for your new Lambo.
Okay, so I have been looking for a table to go between my couch and chair and I think I have found it. Isn’t this a damn cool piece? Looks like I need to make another trip to Restoration Hardware and check it out in person. That place has some really nice stuff. It’s no wonder their paint is littering my walls.
What do you think about this wallpaper for my bathroom? I have yet to do anything with the bathroom in my new condo and I am thinking wallpaper. Something with a design and I kinda dig this birdcage look. Chime in and gimme your thoughts. (legs are optional)
Not sure where this is but how is that for some nice artistic decor? Hey, I will take some roast beef, a side of pickles and well how about one of them there stripper poles with stripper included!
