Ocotillo – Great Success!
My vacation has been a great success so far. Have been spending time with my family, friends, offroading, biking, relaxing, ahhh so nice. Over the past weekend, I headed out to Ocotillo Wells, CA with Ryan, Jen, Jen’s Mom & Dad and a few others that showed up as well. Polaris was nice enough to loan me a 2010 RZR-S for the trip so I could join in the fun. Ryan’s new RZR-S was fresh out of the fab shop just in time for the run. The TIG welding is impeccable on it! We put in well over 200 miles on the trails, deep fried 2 turkeys, lit of fireworks, burned 3 Xmas trees, it was an amazing weekend…
My loaner for the weekend
Preview of Ryan’s new cage built my Latest Concepts and Designs. Wait til you see the finished product. Gorgeous TIG welds all around. You won’t find another side by side cage of this quality that’s bolt-on.
Ryan and Jen waiting on the group to tackle some more aggressive terrain
Okay, now you’re just showin off
Ever deep fried a turkey? I hadn’t either! We did two and they came out beautiful in 40 min totally non greasy!
Epic evenings in the desert…
Then the tree went bye bye
Did we have fire works on hand? Of course we did, how do you think we roll?
Hittin the mud hills
Ocotillo is a playground for side by sides. It’s the perfect vehicle for this area. Its small enough you can take it in all the tight washes, nimble enough to go anywhere fast and totally comfortable and safe.
One of our stops was the Blair Witch Piles. These rock formations were everywhere, we’re talking 100’s of them!
My contribution. I hope it’s there next time I go!
Don and Ryan jumped into a bike bowl for some fun

“Ok, Rose you got it!”
Two dudes lookin for a good time… I think someone scratched their number on a bathroom wall or something…
Ryan enjoying some sand fun at the Sandamn
Chassis did a great job of keeping us protected at camp, oh and sleeping in everyones arms around the campfire. Such a cutie…
Don had his satellite ready laptop booted up to track our routes on his SPOT messenger
Joanna and Cameron came out as well with their race bikes ready to thrash some dirt. We did a good job of trying to keep up with them.
The Pumpkin Patch is pretty well known for OCO regulars. 100’s of round rocks scattered everywhere like a garden. That’s our RZR-S posse behind with Joanna and Cameron on their bikes.
Another amazing weekend in the books. I can’t thank Ryan and Jen enough for letting me crash in their mobile condo, bringing my RZR out for me and showing me a great time. You guys are the best! Let’s setup another trip soon!
