The Pain Divide

Today, I introduced Jeff to a new section of the Pain Divide. He had been to Motorway but hadn’t taken on the brutal crappy climbs between Motorway and 4 Corners. Today was his lucky day? We headed out on a 4 hour adventure that put in 35 miles and 6000 feet of climbing. All in a days work… I don’t have much to say, the ride was long, kinda boring, but still any day on the bike is better than a day behind the desk! The clouds were rolling in around the peaks and gave us some gorgeous looks.

Just when you think the climbing is done, the divide brings you more…

2 hours and 15 minutes into the ride we hit Motorway and took a break. I forgot to bring solid food with me. Idiot. I was hungry!

Once you leaving Motorway the real fun begins? At least the views were amazing today

The clouds looked as if they were blanketing the trees to keep them warm

Wow! That new fav for your wallpaper doesn’t even look like So Cal. Gotta love the timberline and a little fog. Nice shot.
